John-Paul Wolfe, a native to downtown Chicago, joined New West Commercial as the Director of Commercial Brokerage in February 2007. He brings with him over seven years of real estate experience and a strong analytical/financial background from his prior experience in real estate development and commercial underwriting, as well as from his MBA in Finance and Real Estate.
At New West, John-Paul specializes in commercial leasing and investment sales including the sales of development sites, multi-unit residential and retail centers. Some of John-Paul’s current clients and recent transactions include the following tenants: Marble Slab, Cartridge World, Jimmy Johns, KFC/Pizza Hut, 7-Eleven, Okko Spa, Tamarind Asian Restaurant, KinderCare Learning Center, Subway, Quizno’s, YUM! Brands, Burrito Beach, Super China Buffet/Express, DHL/Airborne Express, & Open MRI.
Prior to joining New West, John-Paul worked for four years as a Broker Associate with a commercial brokerage and consulting firm. In 2002, John-Paul worked for a full-service brokerage and development company as the lead realtor and director of sales and acquisition activities. During this time, he contracted the sale of over $13 million in residential and commercial real estate. In 2000 and 2001, John-Paul worked as a real estate analyst at GMAC Commercial Mortgage, where he underwrote over $180 million in conduit and interim hospitality loans. John-Paul has also worked as an office tenant representative in Washington, DC.

John-Paul received his MBA from American University with concentrations in Finance/Real Estate & Management/Entrepreneurship. Prior to attending graduate school, John-Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed Illinois real estate broker (2000) and Michigan real estate broker (2005).

John-Paul is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR), Southwest Michigan Association of Realtors (SWMAR), Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce (LPCOC).
