Ted Mazola, president and managing broker of New West Realty Group, LLC, co-founded the parent company in 1978. Born and raised in Chicago, Mazola has always believed in giving back to the communities that have helped him, and therefore has been heavily involved in the renaissance of Chicago's Near West communities.

Mazola has been the driving force behind literally thousands of newly developed and rehabilitated properties in several of Chicago's communities, including University Village, Park 1500/SkyTech (1501 W. Madison), and the Riverwoods community for seniors in Melrose Park.

Mazola never ceases to analyze the needs of the neighborhoods he becomes involved in, and search for the optimal solution to fit those needs. Mazola's roots in Chicago run deep. In addition to his real estate accomplishments, Mazola has been involved in numerous community endeavors including, but certainly not limited to: Former Alderman of Chicago's First Ward, Board Member with the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind, long range planning work for the Chicago Housing Authority, the Near West Side Community Conservation Council, and Co-Founder and Past President of the University Village Association.

Mazola has kept his focus local, instead of trying to expand throughout the rest of the country. He feels that he can benefit communities more when he can have a more personal connection with them, and uses both his personal and political connections to further assist him in these ventures.

Mazola's keen perceptive eye and drive to create a sense of community in neighborhoods that have lost touch with their past is what keeps him striving to do more. He has assembled a world-class team to support him in his endeavors, and hopes to be able to keep making a positive impact in Chicago whether through real estate or his philanthropic activities.
