A native Chicagoan, Scott joined New West Commercial in 2008 and brings over eighteen years’ hands-on experience in real estate as an owner/operator of more than 300 mixed-use & multi-family apartment units with aggregate asset values in excess of $18,000,000. Scott also has 12+ years’ banking/commercial mortgage banking experience as co-founder of a multi-state mortgage banking concern whose annual volume exceeded $120,000,000 (10 years) and commercial banking experience as VP with a privately-held, IL-based commercial bank. (2 years). Scott also has almost a decade of high-volume food & beverage management/operations experience and several years as a GC-overseeing a variety of work in both the private and CHA/government sectors- sprinkled in for good measure.

Scott works with sellers/landlords, buyers/tenants and developers/builders in all facets of asset acquisition, disposition, management, development and leasing. Prior-to NWC Scott spent two years with Perry Commercial, LTD. a commercial/industrial brokerage based in Kankakee, Illinois.

Scott is a board member of the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and is co-chairman of its membership committee. He served on the IMBA Commercial Lending & Marketing Committees. Scott is a NAMB CRMS Designee and when not working, can be found on the path to enlightenment in one of Chicago’s yoga studios.
